About Perran Sands
Surfers and paragliders are in their element here. Complete with their wetsuits, they’re always out there, having a wild time. This is a lively Park with a great holiday atmosphere and something for everyone including the chic attractions of Newquay, St. Ives or Padstow.

With its long stretches of sandy beach, this location is ideal for family strolls, kids playing and for parents to relax. Also being one of Cornwall’s top surfing beaches, it's great for keen surfers, expert or novice, to practice catching some waves!

Penhale Sands sits behind Perran Sands and together with Perranporth Beach forms a three mile stretch of golden sandy beach with good surfing conditions. Other popular beach activities here include swimming, snorkelling, fishing and sea canoeing (hire is available). Zoning is in place for watersports.

Pleasant walks can be taken through the dune system above the beach to St. Piran's Cross and ruins of St. Piran's Oratory. The beach is part of the Southwest Coastal path. With all the fun of the Park and the golden sandy beach, Perran Sands is hard to resist.

Site of Special Scientific Interest
Penhale is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest. This and the Special Area of Conservation both help protect and manage the sand dunes' habitats and wildlife that thrives there. Even within the Park itself you can enjoy some of this wildlife, as well as do your bit to help look after it.

Special Area of Conservation
The wildlife is so special here at Perran Sands that the Dunes have been designated a "Special Area of Conservation" due to the plants and wildlife here, some of which are rare on a European scale.
Accommodation
Spacious 35’x12’, Superior rated, 3 bedroom, 8 berth caravan situated on a large quiet plot near the sand dunes. Outside there is a picnic table so you can enjoy ‘al fresco’ dining.

Well behaved dogs are welcome. There are certain breeds which are not allowed on the Holiday Park, please see Terms of Hire.

Terms & Conditions of Hire
Caravan is offered subject to being unlet at the time booking fee and booking forms received.
Caravan let to families or couples only, no all male/female parties, or under 21s.
The number of persons in the caravan at any time MUST NOT EXCEED THE NUMBER OF BERTHS IN THE CARAVAN including children of all ages.
Check in time is 2.00 pm at the earliest and the caravan must be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure.
No responsibility will be accepted for illness or injury whilst in the caravan and no liability will be accepted for loss of personal effects.
Cars may be parked at owner’s risk in the area provided at the end of the caravan.
As we are in no way connected to Perran Sands holiday park, we are simply private owners with a caravan for hire on the park, we cannot be held responsible for any changes to facilities/entertainment etc.
Because of the danger to caravan windows and the occupiers, free ball games of any kind are prohibited in the caravan area. A large safe playing area is only a short distance away.
When booking please ensure details are correct. Only the persons named on the form can occupy the caravan. Bookings are not transferable.
A deposit of 50% of the total price of the holiday is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is payable 6 weeks prior to your holiday.
We advise you take out holiday insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances which may lead you to cancel.
For hygienic reasons, bedding, blankets, pillows, cushions, etc. MUST NOT be taken out of the caravan, or used for pet bedding.
Any damage which may occur must be reported immediately by phone to Sarah-Jane – 07817 455434.
Holidaymakers should be aware that the caravan park is part of a wildlife area and therefore the ground can sometimes be uneven. Guests may also find a torch useful at night.
In the rare event that you should have a complaint, however serious or trivial, please contact the owner in order that she may resolve the problem. It is considered unreasonable to make a complaint on or after departure, if the opportunity was not given to correct any matters that may arise during your stay.
Users of the site do so at their own risk and the management cannot accept responsibility for accidents causing injury, damage or loss of any kind.
NO SMOKING IS ALLOWED INSIDE THE CARAVAN.
Dogs are not permitted in any buildings or shops in the holiday complex.
Dogs must be kept under control at all times and exercised WELL AWAY from the site.
Dog owners MUST provide suitable bedding for their pets and are reminded that caravan furniture and caravan bedding is not to be used for this purpose.
Local Area

There are endless places to visit when you stay, including Watergate Bay (famous for Jamie Oliver's beautiful restaurant, Fifteen), The Eden Project, Lands End, St Ives, Newquay and many more. You can find more details in the folder in the caravan upon arrival.

Perranporth
Perranporth village is a popular surfing destination 6 miles south west of Newquay. It has pubs, cafés, takeaways, surf shops, newsagents, butchers, bakery, Post Office and grocery stores. During the season Perranporth beach and Penhale Sands are manned by RNLI lifeguards. If you are planning to spend a day on the beach, beach huts are available for approximately £10 per day.
The beach is easily accessed down a steep path which is a few minutes walk from the caravan. When the tide is out you can walk to Perranporth past the Watering Hole bar on the beach. Or, a 15 minute walk over the cliffs and along the edge of Perranporth Golf Club with its 18 hole course overlooking the sea will also take you into Perranporth. Holiday membership is available at the golf club.
If you don’t fancy the walk there is a regular bus service which runs a circular service directly into the holiday park.

Truro
Truro derives its name from the Cornish Tri-veru, meaning three rivers. It is the centre for tourism, commerce and administration. The magnificent cathedral extends a warm welcome to visitors. You can take a boat trip from Truro to Falmouth along the beautiful River Fal.

There are fantastic facilities from pools to sports courts offering fabulous family water and sports fun, kids’ clubs for all ages. From dawn to dusk, this Park offers an incredible range of activities so that come rain or shine, the only challenge is deciding what to do first!

Haven Leisure's premier site above Perranporth in Cornwall, is located in a site of special scientific interest (SSI). The Haven site is set in 500 acres of mainly sand dunes leading to a massive, 3 mile long sandy beach which is good for surfing and is overseen by lifeguards throughout the Summer. There is a vast array of on site daytime activities to keep the whole family occupied, along with professionally presented evening shows in the large entertainment complex.

The facilities on site include indoor and outdoor swimming pool, entertainment complex, sports bar and games room, children's club, cafes, supermarket, restaurants and shops. Should you wish to eat out there are plenty of local pubs/restaurants to cater for all tastes, with true Cornish hospitality. There is also wi-fi access on site.

Outdoor activities are varied with great with football coaching, sportszone activities, mini golf, Rory's playland, surf school, dune trekking and nearby golf and horse riding.

Please note that some of the facilities require passes that can be obtained on arrival to suit your needs i.e. for 3/4 or 7 days. Please ask when booking if you require assistance with these. Alternatively details of can be obtained from reception at the park. However, there are plenty of places to socialise that don’t require passes.
